Enveloped in the ear-pleasing tone of reggae, veteran artist Ed Robinson's intriguing musical journey spans over three magnificent decades. From his career's breathtaking start to the present, he has proven his mettle as an iconic reggae musician, with over 200 exhilarating songs and twelve inspiring albums to his sterling reputation.
The musical maestro’s journey began as a drummer in a school band, where he first showcased his leanings toward divine rhythms and magnetic melodies. Over the subsequent decades, Robinson morphed into a versatile musical genius, adept in a range of genres including Reggae, Rock, Soul, Hip Hop, and R&B. His music catalog, boasting over ten albums, is a testament to his flair for variety and constant evolution.
Robinson's eruption onto the music scene came in 1992 following the release of his debut album, "Once Again," on the illustrious VP Records Label. The album featured the unforgettable hit "Knocking on Heaven’s Door," heralding Robinson's arrival as a promising star in the reggae scene. Shortly after, he inked a deal with MCA Records, paving the way for a series of successful albums.
Subsequent delights included his third album in 2005, "Solitude," and "The Awakening" in 2008, produced by Jerome Rhodd. His journey took a soaring turn when he teamed up with the Push Broom Gang Label to release "Written in Stone" in 2011. With unforgettable hits like "Our Heroes," "If I Follow My Heart," and "Talking Blues," Robinson's status as a leading reggae artist was undeniably cemented.
The track "Our Heroes" reverberated across globe-spanning mainstream and satellite radio stations, including SiriusXM Radio. Robinson's musical prowess continued to shine through his releases in the ensuing years. His 2014 album "On Covers" paid homage to industry legends, including the late John Holt with "Tribute to John Holt," produced by Kemar "Flava" McGregor.
As Robinson’s journey continued, he nabbed number one spots on charts in New York and Florida with his hit single "Kool Off" from the 2015 album "Yard Magic." This winning streak showed no sign of ebbing as hits like "Thinking of You" and "The Blame Game" surfaced. Robinson further shed light on his versatility in 2018 with the gospel album "Glory and Praise."
Robinson's record-breaking dedication led to the release of another single, "I'm Not That Guy," in 2023, further affirming his remarkable constancy as a reggae front-runner.
Alongside his fruitful career as an artist, Robinson has enriched the industry with his gifted approach to music production. He's worked with industry icons like Dennis Brown, Richie Stephens, Buju Banton, Luciano, Maxi Priest, Super Cat, and Snoop Dogg, showcasing his adaptability in various industry niches.
Robinson successfully incorporated his entrepreneurial acumen into his music career. He co-founded Da Global Base, formerly Reggae Global Entertainment, with his musical family. The artist-owned ensemble provides comprehensive services, including artist management and booking, digital distribution, recording studio services, and much more.
Robinson’s passion for music transcends studio confines, evident in his thrilling performances at Reggae Sunsplash in Jamaica, Beres Hammond and Friends Florida Tour, and Germany Tour, among other global platforms.

JOANNA MARIE
Joanna Marie is a highly talented and renowned artist, born on February 18, 1967, in Kingston, Jamaica. Flanked by her Jamaican and Venezuelan heritage, Joanna’s outstanding selling points resonate in her unique sound and style as a gifted vocalist, seasoned pianist, master composer, experienced producer, and entrepreneur. With over 30 years of experience in the music industry, Joanna Marie is a bi-lingual reggae/jazz vocalist who has mastered the arts of marketing, event planning, production, and PR.
Joanna began her musical journey at a young age, singing songs on the radio and learning to play the piano. Clint O'Neil, the popular Radio personality and Godfather of Reggae music in South Florida was the first to discover and developed Joanna's potential to excel in the music industry. Her first single titled “Single Girl" was produced in 1986 by Clint O'Neil, mixed and mastered by Ian Lewis, and Touter Harvey of Inner Circle (Bad Boys of Reggae). Her second single “I’m So Thankful" was released in 1987, produced by Miami Sound Studio and mixed by Carlos Granados of Miami Sound Studio. Her singles became a household anthem around South Florida, and she was invited to perform on numerous live shows before her fans and a large audience.
In 1994, Joanna Marie dropped her first album, "Simply Irresistible," produced by Benjy Myaz and Mikey Chung for Kariang Record Label. The album contains Spanish and English songs and also features the hit song "Sea of Love," which made history as the first locally produced Spanish reggae song to be played on Jamaican radio. She continued to develop in her music career and released more singles, including Rhinestone Cowgirl, Mi Amor (Spanish), and Good E Nuff (Spanish and English).
Joanna Marie is the co-founder of Da Global Base, formerly Reggae Global Entertainment, along with her husband, international artist Ed Robinson, and daughter, Melissa Chin Loy, the president of the company, supported by Ryan Smith, a.k.a. Ryan Dangerous, as vice president. The company is artist-owned and provides artist management and booking, digital distribution, recording studio services, vocal training, marketing, and promotion, writing services, graphics, cd duplication, event planning, photography, videography, legal referrals, copyright and publishing services, merchandising, radio station and global nourishment to name a few.
Over the years, Joanna Marie has built an enviable reputation of credibility and goodwill amongst the industry heavyweights, and she is renowned for her commitment to integrity and transparency. She collaborates with entertainment and corporate brands to deploy diverse marketing strategies that appeal to the target audience. Under her leadership, Da Global Base has grown to become a leading provider of various music services.
In January 2018, Joanna Marie released her first Various Artists Album, "DI JUGGLIN Vol 1," which features 15 hand-selected artists and tracks from established and upcoming artists. DI JUGGLIN Vol 1 is the most anticipated compilation of reggae music and is available on iTunes and all major digital outlets, along with physical CDs. In December 2017, she released her single "Silhouettes" from DI JUGGLIN VOL 1, which entered several charts in Europe, New York, and Florida.
Joanna Marie has recorded and released several songs, and in 2021, she released "I Just Want To Be Your Everything" under the Reggae Global Entertainment label. She also released a single, "There's A Kind of Hush," from the upcoming Karen Carpenter tribute album, set to be released in June 2023.

RYAN F. SMITH
Ryan Smith a.k.a Ryan Dangerous is a Jamaican-born musician, producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur.
Born in Saint Andrews, Kingston and grew up in Portland, he emigrated to Miami where he currently resides. Ryan was Seven when he was introduced to the feel of being a musician during a service at Church. From there onwards, he experimented with the drums, bass guitar, trumpets, and singing in a family group as a teenager.
Ryan was given the stage name "Ryan Dangerous" by DJs who challenged his skills playing music at house parties. Living in Florida offered Ryan a new taste for musical diversity and excellence, adding more creative flare to his musical renditions. Ryan has two heartwarming singles to his name namely "Tattoo Scars" produced and released in March 2021 with an accompanying animation video. "Baby Run Come" is a female anthem designed to grace the clubs and radios, with Reggaeton sound infused with stage banging Afrobeats. Ryan is curred by working with Blewman Production, and currently sits as Vice President for Da Global Base, while enjoying being a fashion designer and owner for Island Niche. He is working on a much-anticipated album that is looking to shock the industry...
